We enjoyed our stay at certosa di pontignano residenza d'epoca, place of charme after visiting florence. The rustic charm of the rooms and the peaceful atmosphere really exceeded our expectations. We loved the beautiful grounds and the excellent dinner we had at the restaurant.

Marvelous property, but shower had mold issues.

Staying here with friends was great. The location is beautiful, surrounded by vineyards. We enjoyed activities like cycling and hiking. Breakfast had a lot of variety, and the restaurant offered great meals. Remember, you'll need a car as Siena is a bit of a drive away.

One downside was the lack of air-conditioning in our room. It made it tough to get comfortable during warm nights.

The facility is a fine former monastery, perfectly maintaining its historical charm. I loved the spacious garden filled with olive trees and the amazing views of the surrounding Tuscan landscape. The on-site restaurant served the most nice meals, including a flavorful dish of pasta with wild boar meat.

Unfortunately, I found the check-in experience quite frustrating as we arrived and our room was not ready despite the stated time. Additionally, the early 10 AM check-out felt rushed, preventing us from enjoying our final moments at such a beautiful place. The grounds, while stunning, lacked maintenance, particularly around the outer areas. some extra cleaning would greatly enhance the overall experience.
